Santi Bay in Phuket is 2km north of the
popular Patong Beach area and has easy access to golf courses,
beaches, and all of the island's major amenities. We are

flights to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, and many other
Asian destinations.
Transportation
Learn the best ways get around town. From taxis to airport
transfers, driving advice, or complimentary buggies and shuttles,
here’s guidance on how to get there:
Flights
Phuket International Airport offers frequent daily flights
to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur as well
as regular flights to other major Asian cities.
Transportation To and From the Airport
The resort offers shuttle and limo service both ways to the
airport,
for a fee, or you can hire taxis and limousines upon arrival
at the airport and rates are set for the 45 minute trip.
At the right end of the arrivals area outside the airport
terminal is a Taxi Meter stand, where you can hire metered
taxis that are sometimes a better bargain than the set rate.

from the resort for you.

During your stay at IndoChine Resort and Villas, free shuttles
will be available until 10pm to take you to and from Patong
for shopping, dining, and nightlife.

for any excursion.
Car Rental and Hired Drivers
There are many scenic drives in Phuket, with gorgeous views
along the winding west coast roads. To fully explore Phuket
and its natural beauty, you will need to rent a car to get
around. If you’re not confident driving on narrow,
sometimes crowded roads, you can hire a car with a driver.
Full-service car rental companies offer full insurance, a
very good idea in Phuket. Cut-rate car rental agencies may
offer limited insurance, but the reality is that these policies
generally only cover damage or injury to third parties, and
not to the car or its passengers. Another unfortunate reality
is that foreigners are often required to pay for damage regardless
of who is at fault in an accident.
Traffic in Phuket moves on the left side of the road, as
it does in the UK, Singapore, and other countries. Seat belts
are required and laws against drunk driving are often enforced.
You need a valid International driving license or a Thai
driving license, and police checkpoints are frequent to enforce
this law. |
